All along I knew the two-week period that just passed would be crazy and difficult to train through - and that was without considering Charlotte getting sick and passing it on. So to have run five days both weeks and mix in some quality to offset the low volume feels pretty good. I don't know that I could have done much more.

So now it is now 12 weeks until the JFK 50 mile (November 20) - or in training terms: 24 workouts, four 3+hour runs, and maybe a race or two. It helps that fall is my favorite time of year to train.  And after the up and down nature of the past couple months, I'm relishing "routine" again.
