Another good week of training both in volume and quality. Looking back on the track workout, I'm viewing it as a stepping stone to some faster times down the road. I originally had the goal of breaking 50 min for 10M and 30 min for 10k this summer, but right now I'm just training with my head down, not worrying about racing. The soreness from the 50k has set me back a little bit, but upon reflection it was a little naive to think that I would be able to coast through an ultra and come out the other side ready to hop back into workouts.
