Had intentions of running today, but the soreness from yesterdays run kicked in overdrive. My energy is good - I feel rested. But the IT bands are barking this morning. I was hoping that it would only be minor soreness so that one day off would be all I needed, but I can tell this is going to be a 2-3 day ordeal. Who would have thought running 50k on hilly trails would be so rough on one's body?
