The New Normal

Hola, amigos. I know it's been awhile since I rapped at ya.

It's almost been a year since I last posted and oh, what a year.  With everything that is going on I considered myself retired from run-blogging, especially since I've had a difficult time training consistently. Also it seemed a little gratuitous in light of Charlotte's blog.

But recently some of the fire has returned and I've had a couple people inquire if I planned on resuming the blog.

So I make my triumphant return. I'll put a couple "catch-up" posts later this week, but in the meantime I've redesigned the blog for a fresh start.  First, a new title to reflect my current state of mind. Second, I've used one of the neater features of my Garmin 405 to post my day-to-day training along the right.

As far as a goal/purpose for this blog, I guess it's just a way to track my training and racing and make the occasional running/life related observation while avoid too many stale posts. No greater ambition for now. My best effort.

Welcome back! I also have a widget on my site from my 405, but yours is much better!
Where'd you find it?
I can relate to the lack of posting, too. I've got a 2 month old, and I guess it's safe to say priorities change!
