I dropped the volume just slightly this week because I wanted to get an idea my fitness by running the half-marathon semi-fresh. Of course the race didn't go exactly as I would have liked, but there were some bright spots. This past week, really almost two weeks, I have been short on sleep/recovery and I believe it is starting to have an effect on work and running. I'm a bit of a zombie lately. I guess I'll take it as it comes.
