An unexpectedly excellent run. After yesterdays workout I thought I would feel more sluggish but, on the contrary, I found myself holding back. I got out early to avoid the heat and I'm glad I did. The sun was just starting to get strong as I ran the last portion home with some of the Run n Fun guys I bumped into.
Congratulations to Erik on conquering Western States 100. It took him a little longer than he hoped, but that can happen when running 100 miles over the Sierra Nevadas in a day. Now its time for a little R&R.
